Raised in Wayland, Massachusetts, Seth Riseman received a B.S. in architecture from the University of Virginia, and M.Arch. and M.A.U.D. from the Harvard Graduate School of Design. At Utile he manages many of the firm’s urban design and planning projects, including the Hyannis Harbor Plan, the guidelines for the Greenway District, and architectural design controls for a central business district in Abu Dhabi. Seth worked for ROMA Design Group in San Francisco, and for Bruner/Cott & Associates on a range of campus design and architecture projects, including the 2005 Macalester College Campus Master Plan, which received a 2006 Boston Society of Architects Honor Award for Campus Planning. In addition, Seth is a visiting lecturer at Northeastern University. He is also an active member of the Boston Society of Architects as well as the Urban Land Institute and has been published in the Institute’s national journal, Urban Land.
