Utile’s work to support resilience in Boston was covered in BuildingGreen, a respected resource for sustainable design and healthy communities across the nation. The article highlights our recently-completed Coastal Flood Resilience Design Guidelines with the City of Boston and recommendations for new zoning to prepare and adapt neighborhoods at risk by 2070. Eight neighborhoods and 6,500 parcels are potentially impacted by the projected sea-level rise and storm surge, making it one of the biggest citywide threats in the coming decades.
