About Andrea:
Andrea Aponte joined Utile in 2025 as a Marketing Manager. At Utile, Andrea leads project teams through the production of proposals and award submission across disciplines, bringing light to the firm’s full scope of work and qualifications. Prior to joining Utile, Andrea was at Sasaki, where she supported the interdisciplinary practice through communications and storytelling across all points of the project lifecycle.
Andrea moved to Boston in 2016 and graduated from Northeastern University with her Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and Environmental Studies, with a minor in Urban Landscape Studies. Born and raised in South Florida, she holds a deep interest in the ties between people and place and how the urban environment shapes the cultural fabric. She is consistently excited by all things design, craft, and music. Outside of work, she enjoys woodworking, furniture making, listening to NTS radio, playing pool, and riding her fixed gear around Boston.
