Utile is always looking for talented designers and planners to join our team, though we do not always have specific staff openings. Job descriptions and application procedures for specific openings are provided below. If you are interested in applying for positions outside these specific openings, please select the “General Application Portal” below and complete the application there.

Applications are reviewed weekly on Thursdays, and we strive to respond to all applicants within a week of review.

Project Architect/Designer (4+ years experience)

Please only apply if you are able to start work within two months of your application submission. This will help ensure that our review of your application takes into consideration an accurate understanding of our staffing projections.

Summer Internships

Applications for our Summer Fellowship and Practicum will be posted here in late January/early February and all non-graduating students are welcome to apply. Both the Practicum and Fellowship are designed as 12 week programs running generally from May to August, with some flexibility around dates. The Fellowship is a research-topic oriented opportunity, while the Practicum is more directly focused on project work.
