About Andrew:
Andrew is a registered Architect and is interested in the capacity of Architecture to bring people together and foster community. As a designer that values process, his work reflects a keen understanding of the human scale. He brings an expertise in creating place through materiality and a deep commitment to sustainable design as both principle and practice.
Andrew joined Utile in 2021 as a Designer. He holds a Master’s degree in Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design and a B.Sc in Architecture and Environmental Design from Morgan State University. He was selected to be the 2025 Director of Architecture at Utile, which is an opportunity to coordinate the firm’s culture and curate thought leadership within the office.
Andrew’s past projects at Utile include a variety of multi-family residential projects including 154 Broadway; an award winning PHIUS certified mass timber mixed-use building in Somerville, MA. He is currently working on a ground up community center in Dorchester, MA that will provide spaces for community activities and energize the creative culture of the neighborhood.
Outside the office he is an avid tennis player and loves to spend time outdoors. He enjoys food, art, reading, and loves to travel.
