Maressa Perreault featured in Dwell Magazine article on Brutalism

“Threats to the conservation of brutalist buildings like Boston City Hall risk the loss of an entire chapter of our architectural history.” Associate principal Maressa Perreault spoke about the value of Brutalist buildings in a recent Dwell article, “Why You Either Love or Hate Brutalism” by Nathan Ma.

Maressa—along with Mark Pasnik from OverUnder—co-directed the 2021 Conservation Management Plan for Boston City Hall, a 327-page document that identifies and documents the history and significance of Boston City Hall and provides guiding principles and policies for its conservation.
