We are so excited to share that Betty Greene Apartments is officially Phius certified!!

This 100% affordable transit-oriented housing development, located in the heart of Jackson Square has successfully optimized energy modeling, resulting in a level of performance with reduced greenhouse gas emissions, enhanced thermal comfort, and greater levels of resilience.

Meeting Phius’ climate-specific, cost-optimized standard which are proven to use 40-60 percent less energy means this project goes above and beyond to meet adapting environmental needs while creating connectivity and affordability in the community.

At Utile, we do Passive House energy modeling and design guidance in-house, which leads to the early integration of high performance design concepts. We are sincerely committed to sustainable design strategies and are so proud of our team’s work!
