Corey Zehngebot works as an urban designer and planner at Utile. She is currently managing the design of the Complete Streets manual for the Boston Transportation Department, and is the project manager for planning studies in Boston’s Newmarket / Upham’s Corner area and New Haven’s Mill River District – two important and active mixed-use industrial zones. She received a B.A. with distinction in behavioral neuroscience and history of art from Yale University, and a M.Arch. from Harvard Graduate School of Design. After graduating from Yale, Corey worked for several years in the department of master planning and construction for the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, on the MFA’s newly opened American wing designed by Foster + Partners. Prior to working at Utile, Corey worked at Martha Schwartz Partners. She lives in an 1867 rowhouse in Charlestown, and loves commuting to work by ferry from the Navy Yard.
