Joy as Resistance in Pride Month with Artist Katiana Rodriguez
We are so happy to share a reimagination of our logo for Pride Month by featured artist Katiana Rodriguez, who brings her vibrant energy and deep commitment to community building to this powerful piece, declaring “WE’RE STILL HERE!” This piece is a celebration of resilience, joy, and the unbreakable spirit of the LGBTQ+ community.
Drawing from her Puerto Rican roots, Katiana creates art that captures the warmth and adoration she feels whenever she thinks of home. Her work celebrates the beauty of queer identity, body positivity, and the “deep rooted sense of community” that defines her artistic practice. Thank you Katiana for this inspiring and deeply meaningful piece!

Statement by the Artist:
As a queer creator, Pride month has been a time of joy, celebration, and community. However, 2025 has felt a little bit different. The focus has shifted to joy, but joy as a form of resistance. Celebration of how far we’ve come, despite adversity. We’re focusing on community, and the power in numbers to enact change. When designing this logo, I wanted to find a way to incorporate all of these emotions into the final artwork. With the queer community being under attack, especially our trans siblings, we need to find a way to come together not only for the party, but for the movement. LGBTQ+ folks have always existed, and we always will. “We’re Still Here” is a nod to how many struggles the community has not only faced but overcome throughout history. We are still here, and we are not going anywhere.
