Announcing Utile’s newest principal: Brett Bentson, AIA, LEED AP

We are excited to announce that Brett Bentson is Utile’s newest principal! Brett joined Utile in 2013, focusing on a broad group of clients ranging from the City of Boston to non-profit organizations, such as The Possible Project and the Asian Community Development Corporation, and institutions such as Belmont Hill School. He has led award-winning projects including the expansion and renovation of two branches of the Boston Public Library in Jamaica Plain and Nubian Square, along with Girard, a 160-unit apartment building in Boston’s South End. Among his wide-range of active projects, Brett is currently managing The Quinn, a 14-story mixed-use development in the South End. He also serves as an active member of Utile’s Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) team.

Brett, previously an associate principal of the firm, joins Utile principals Tim Love, Mimi Love, Michael LeBlanc, and Matthew Littell. We are grateful for the wealth of knowledge and experience that Brett will continue to share with our project teams and growing staff, and for his dedicated leadership of Utile’s expanding and evolving portfolio.
