Belmont Day School Barn featured in local press

Utile’s recently completed Belmont Day School Barn was featured in a Wicked Local article focused on the new recreation, education, and performance facility’s connection to the community, its design within the broader Belmont Day School campus and Belmont itself, and the project’s history and evolution. The new 25,000 square foot building includes a variety of flexible and programmed spaces, a modular construction system, custom designed storage, and furniture adapted for use by students and faculty of all sizes and ages.

This is Utile’s third project with Belmont Day School, which was founded over 90 years ago and is located in a pastoral setting adjacent to the Beaver Brook Conservation in Belmont, MA.  The Barn and our renovation and repositioning of Coolidge Hall are two components in Belmont Day School’s Campus Vision Plan, also executed by Utile. We are thrilled to be able to continue our relationship with Belmont Day and look forward to the success of the generations of students who will call the new space home.

You can read more about the project in Belmont Day School’s ‘barn’ now open by writer Joanna Tzouvelis in Wicked Local Belmont.
