We are thrilled to announce that the second phase of the Front Street Development with the Portland Housing Authority is Utile’s latest Passive House Design Certified project! The multifamily design demonstrates best-in-class performance through the PHIUS 2021 CORE standard by integrating a robust building envelope, thermal-bridge free construction, and all-electric systems. In creating 45 new affordable homes and a community room for older adults in Portland, Maine, the project also underscores Utile’s commitment to healthy, comfortable, and sustainable living spaces and neighborhoods.
