At Utile, we continue to hold ourselves accountable to our impact on the environment through the decisions we make and the actions we take. A few recent steps include:

  • 100% of Utile’s interiors projects are meeting their AIA 2030 commitment targets for reduced lighting power density
  •
  • Two projects achieved Passive House pre-certification, with several pursuing LEED Platinum certification
  •
  • An increased integration of mass timber and on-site solar PV on projects
  •
  • We are involved with Climate Action Planning in Beverly and Salem, MA

Additionally, we’re proud to report that we’ve made significant progress in our AIA 2030 Commitment tracking, in which Utile has pledged to take concrete, incremental steps towards making our projects carbon neutral by the year 2030. You can take a look at our entire 2030 Commitment below.
