Utile has been hard at work designing the graphics and a website for the Boston Transportation Department’s (BTD) Complete Streets Manual. Working iteratively with the BTD, Toole Design Group, who are writing much of the manual, and an Advisory Committee appointed by the Mayor, we created a versatile palette of drawing types that illustrate the new guidelines for roadway, sidewalk, intersection, and streetscape design.

Jeanne Haffner wrote about the efforts in her Street Science column for Next American City.
