Jamaica Plain Branch of the Boston Public Library wins 2018 Preservation Achievement Award!

Utile is honored to announce that our Jamaica Plain Branch of the Boston Public Library Renovation and Addition has won a 2018 Boston Preservation Alliance Preservation Achievement Award for Compatible New Construction & Historic Rehabilitation! The Boston Preservation Alliance states that the 2018 nominees “collectively exemplify what is central to Boston’s success: historic places working in harmony with new construction throughout the city’s neighborhoods.”

The project team is looking forward to the Preservation Achievement Awards Ceremony & 40th Celebration on October 22nd. The Boston Preservation Alliance is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to protect and improve the quality of Boston’s architectural heritage. Through advocacy and education, the Alliance brings people and organizations together to influence the future of Boston’s historic buildings, landscapes, and communities.
