Utile’s own Tim Love and Sam Naylor, along with Amy Dain (Dain Research) and Camille Wimpe (Northeastern University) showcased their Impact Engine report entitled, “Equitable Zoning By Design” on January 23rd, 2025 at Northeastern University. The report and presentation outlined a yearlong research project looking at new tools for zoning for multifamily housing in the context of the MBTA Communities Housing Law. They discussed working with three municipalities, the history of zoning in the region, and showcased the design tools. Learn more about the report here.
