Onwards and upwards! We were so grateful to accept awards for the Passive Projects Design Competition during PhiusCon this past week in Milwaukee, WI!

Betty Greene Apartments: Best Overall Project, Affordable Housing Winner, and High-Rise Multifamily Honorable Mention (Developer: Urban Edge Boston)

1005 Broadway: Low-Rise Multifamily Winner (Developer: The Neighborhood Developers Inc. & Causeway Development)

Front Street Building 2: Low-Rise Multifamily Honorable Mention (Developer: Portland Housing Authority)

As both architect and Passive House consultant on all of these projects, Utile leveraged our in-house energy modelling expertise to integrate high performance concepts throughout the design process. We were thrilled to receive this recognition and to do our part to further the advancement of passive building. Thank you to those who made this success possible, as well as the Passive House Institute for hosting an outstanding conference!
