Go Boston 2030
Utile worked with the Boston Transportation Department, the Interaction Institute for Social Change (IISC), and Nelson\Nygaard to shape Go Boston 2030, the City’s mobility vision plan for the next 15 years. Underpinned by the guiding principles of equity, economic opportunity, and climate responsiveness, the plan seeks to create a shared vision for future mobility in Boston through an extensive and creative public process, develop detailed and actionable goals and targets, and generate innovative ideas for future transportation projects.
Utile’s role included working with the City and IISC to develop the name, branding, and identity system for the plan. Utile also worked closely with Nelson\Nygaard to develop data-driven analysis of Boston’s current mobility patterns, visualized through inventive, compelling interactive and static data visualizations.
The Go Boston 2030 Vision and Action Plan was released in March 2017.
