Hundreds of excited members of the community joined Boston Mayor Martin Walsh on Saturday for the ribbon cutting ceremony of the Jamaica Plain Branch of the Boston Public Library. The enthusiastic crowd participated in the grand reopening celebration, and got to step inside their neighborhood library for the first time since closing its doors for construction in the fall of 2015. Utile worked with the Boston Public Facilities Department and the Boston Public Library to design the new, contemporary addition and full renovation of the existing historic structure.

Members of the Utile design team were on hand to join in the celebration, and shared a few of their photos from the event. Additional photos from Jamaica Plain News can be found here.
