Utile’s Boston City Hall Public Spaces Renovation was recognized in Architizer’s Back from the Brink: 7 Projects Designed to Revitalize Neglected Public Spaces. The project, a 2019 A+ Award winner. Working with the City of Boston Public Facilities Department, the transformation includes improvements to the lobby, new seating, and exterior lighting improvements.

We’re excited to have our work at Boston City Hall recognized alongside these excellent transformative projects.
This project, as well as our recent work renovating the Roxbury Branch of the Boston Public Library, are part of a continuum of our projects that seek to preserve and enhance significant examples of mid-century and modern architecture.
