This year, we’re celebrating Women’s History Month with artist Bithiah Holton (Instagram: @bithiahsart), whose work honors the labor of women of color—the organizing, the tending, the world-building that holds communities together.

Bithiah writes: “Women of color organize, lead and sustain movements, hold communities together, and build futures while absorbing the physical and emotional costs of that labor. Their contributions are foundational, yet too often unseen.”

Thank you, Bithiah, for grounding us in this powerful reminder. As we sit with this work, let us consider: What does it mean to honor and support the labor of women—in our communities, our movements, our institutions, our practices, and our lives?
