Lynn Waterfront Revised Master Plan

Utile is providing design and planning services to the City of Lynn to revise the existing Waterfront Master Plan, originally produced in 2007. The primary goal of the project is to find the right balance between the transformative vision of the Lynn Waterfront Master Plan and the necessary refinements required to ensure equitable and sustainable implementation. The project integrates a coastal open space master plan with a flexible regulatory framework for local development interests. The plan takes into consideration the impacts of proposed development projects that have resulted from the 2007 Waterfront Master Plan to develop more nuanced strategies and updated understandings of development potential and land ownership, and ultimately lead to a more predictable licensing process for new development.
